We talk first
Every appointment starts with a real consultation. Your stylist looks at your hair's condition, texture, and how it has been colored before, then asks what you actually want out of the visit. Bring photos if you have them. If what you are after will take more than one session to do properly, we will tell you that up front instead of promising it in a single afternoon.

We build the plan around your hair
Fine hair, coarse hair, curls, gray coverage, and previously box colored hair all behave differently under lightener and heat. Our colorists choose formula and timing for the hair in front of them, not a standard recipe. Corrective color and extensions are booked as a consultation first so nobody is rushed and you know the plan before any product goes on.

You leave knowing how to keep it
A great cut or color is only worth it if it still looks right three weeks later. Before you go, your stylist walks you through how to style it at home, which products are actually worth buying for your hair, and when to come back so your balayage or keratin treatment grows out cleanly rather than all at once.

We're open Monday to Wednesday 9 AM to 8 PM, Thursday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM. We're closed Sundays.

What services does Salon Bastille offer? +
We offer haircuts for the whole family, color and balayage highlights, keratin and smoothing treatments, permanent waves, conditioning treatments, and express facial waxing.
Do you offer color corrections or hair extensions? +
Yes. Corrective color and hair extensions are scheduled by consultation only so we can plan the right approach for your hair. Call us to set up a consultation.
What is your cancellation policy? +
We kindly require 24 hours' notice for cancellations, in consideration of our staff and other guests.

A Montgomery Road salon, easy to get to
You'll find us at 10794 Montgomery Rd in Cincinnati, just off Montgomery Road in the Montgomery area, with free parking right outside. Guests come to us from across the northeast side of Cincinnati, including Kenwood, Blue Ash, Madeira, Sycamore Township, Symmes Township, Deer Park, and Loveland.
We're open six days a week, with evening appointments Monday through Wednesday for anyone who can't get away during the workday. Color, balayage, and keratin services take longer than a cut, so call ahead for those and we'll book the right amount of time rather than squeezing you in.
